This pair of pandas does have a huge string attached. It was clearly forseen by the former administration. Is it too late for our government to change mind and reject the deal? Hopefully the next administration could do something about it. It would be China to get embarrassed internationally if the pair is returned someday. The return is certainly worth to consider.
